The full name of HD Wallets is Hierachical Deterministic Wallets,The concept of Hierachical Deterministic was proposed in BIP32 proposal.According to Gregory Maxwell’s description, Pieter Wuille finally reorganized and submitted BIP32 on February 11, 2012.
